This alert is every 3-4 seconds consistently. I just updated the firmware on my Redline 360 and now I get a continuous Ka alert with the directional arrow showing I'm being targeted from the rear. It will also give you 20 K band false alerts a minute from new cars on the road. Why? The old 8500 has no modern K band filtering so it's very fast. As an example I could take an old Escort 8500 S7 antenna model and blow anything on the market today away with IO K band shot response time. There is so much to consider with overall performance and filtering, I don't see where this detector lags behind really. The Redline 360c is right up there with the top 3 detectors made right now.
